About Payzaapi
Payzaapi is a cloud-based business management and payments platform operated at payzaapi.co.ke, designed for entrepreneurs and businesses across Africa. We provide tools for online stores, invoicing, inventory, point of sale, staff management, analytics, and multi-currency payment processing.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Merchant", or "you") and Payzaapi ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Payzaapi platform, including all features, dashboards, APIs, and related services.
Payzaapi operates in partnership with licensed payment processors including Korapay and Tuma. Use of payment features is also subject to the terms of those third-party processors.
Important — How Payzaapi handles funds: Payzaapi does not hold, store, or transmit user funds at any time. All funds are held and processed exclusively by our licensed payment partners, Korapay and Tuma. Wallet balances displayed within Payzaapi represent a record of transactions processed by these partners and do not constitute e-money or deposits held by Payzaapi.
For payments processed via Tuma, funds settle directly to the merchant's registered bank account or till number through Tuma's sub-merchant settlement infrastructure. At no point do these funds pass through, transit, or get held by Payzaapi — Payzaapi only receives transaction confirmation data to update your dashboard records.
Registered business identity: The Payzaapi platform is operated by Payzaapi Technologies, a business duly registered in Kenya under the Registration of Business Names Act (Business Registration No. BN-L3SMO9YW). Payzaapi also maintains a verified, registered merchant identity with Korapay as part of our payment partner's Know-Your-Business (KYB) verification process, confirming our registered business details for compliance purposes.
